Remarkables Lodge Winter Collection
Autumn in Queenstown treats us to a stunning show of colours with settled weather and new views appearing as the trees shed their leaves.
Winter brings clear blue skies, crisp mornings and warm afternoons, snow capped mountains and the full array of Queenstown's all year round activities, plus the added bonus of downhill and cross country skiing and boarding as well as ice skating and snowmobile trips.
Winter Festival the last week of June packs over 60 events in to a week of indoor and outdoor entertainment.
Even Milford Sound is at its best with it's lowest rainfall months in winter making sightseeing flights more likely to run. And with fewer crowds all the local activities are more available.
With so much to see and do hot mulled wine and toasted marshmallows around the outside fireplace mark an end to a fine day.
